For the artowork, I am still working on the background. Yes, it has taken quite some time for this task, but according to the prototype, which gave me a rough idea of the milestone in terms of the artwork, I believe that once I finish this background, completing the rest of the artwork (cars, employees, chefs, ingredients) should be a piece of cake.
During the past week, I came across an online game called Sushi Go Around. The mechanics of this game is very similar to what we plan to do with ours, so if we stumble upon any obstacles, I think that analyzing this game will help us out. Here is the link:

Game Critiques
AntLion
- Too much random factors in this game might cause confusion for the players
- The format of this game is very similar to that of a board game, so I find it a bit redundant to be making it digital.
- More features should be included in the game because it seemed plain
- The prototype was well presented, however, I am not quite sure how the actual game will look virtually
- I really like how this game allows the user to discover and explore
- I understand that it was still their preliminary stage for the development of the game, however, I would still like to suggest that the game would become more interesting if more features such as special attacks or bonus stages are included
- The physical prototype portrayed the mechanics of the game effectively and it gave me a clear idea of the game
- Lots of work will be required for the success of this project since it will be 3D based
- I loved the artwork, which was simple, but yet original
- Once again, I would like to suggest that more features such as special attacks or bonus stages would make the game even more fun to play
- Incorporating a story into the game is definitely a great way to submerge the player into the game
- Since this project will be built from their own engine, I assume that it will be a very time consuming process, therefore, start early!
- I have no further comments about this game because it seemed like the team has a concrete idea of what they will do.

Background + Alpha Graphics
Recently, I have been focusing on the completion of the main graphics of our game. In addition to what I have already drawn for the past few weeks, which include the background, chefs, and employees, I also drew a few cars, and some food items that will be essential for the game play.

Other than these "placement" objects that will substitute the actual graphics in the mean time, I have been working on the actual background that will be used in the end.

For the upcoming week, my goal is to complete the background, and begin drawing the cars.

Background Design Progress
For the past week, my task was to complete the final version of the background, however, it is taking a lot longer than I expected so I am still in the process of completing it. Here is what it looks like so far:

As you can see, the white space is going to be the kitchen area, and the three small buildings are going to be the stalls where the employee will take orders.
Once the background is completed, I will begin drawing other objects that will also be present in the game; they include cars, employees, chefs, food ingredients etc.

Fastfood Tycoon Prototype
For our prototype, I have created the background, and a few characters. These images will only be placements created for the sole purpose this particular stage, which is the prototype development stage. When it comes to the actual game, I will redo all these images. Also, these aren't all the images that will be presented in finished product because this is just a very basic representation the game.
